Here's me on December 27th, feeling some urgency to revamp my habits of quarantinis, chips, and chocolate every night, and gaining 30 pounds - yeah, that's the real number - since last year...

So I call up my dear friend, Nikki, and we go for a LONG, fast-paced walk in the woods. Things are going well until we came to 'the big icy hill.' Does Mel slow down and respect the hill? No she does not.
She's cocky. She's burning those calories. She's falling on her wrist, then her ass, then sliding down the rest of the way wondering if she's done some real damage. So, fast forward to now, I have to see a surgeon on Monday and may or may not have surgery on Wednesday. Sigh. But I'm using it as an opportunity to challenge myself to become right-handed. I'm also reveling in the little things, like doing up my bra all by myself. Every time I manage it, I consider the day a success, no matter what else happens. Okay, anyway, onto the book news, my friends, because I have a feeling you might be interested in it...
I have 3 novels coming out in 2021 - two romantic comedies and one women's fiction.
First up is ROYALLY TIED, the continuation of Arabella and Will's story - and things are going to get CRAZY!!! in fact, before Christmas break, I was working on a scene so awkward and funny that it's had me laughing to myself for weeks now.
AND NEXT UP is RESTING BEACH FACE, Book 4 of the Paradise Bay RomCom Series!
AND THEN, THE DEEP END, my second ever women's fiction book. It's absolutely scandalous, funny, and a little bit deep. I've started working on it already and I have a feeling it's going to be one of my favourite books yet. If you haven't read my first, women's fiction, THE AFTER WIFE, I hope you'll give it a try. It's only 99 cents for the next week.

I'm not sure if you remember, but way back in March, I dropped the prices of all my books to 99 cents and promised to leave them there for the rest of the year. Well, it's been not the best move financially, as you might imagine, but a promise is a promise, so I left them there. I do need to increase my prices though, but I wanted to give you some warning in case you want to snag them while they're under a dollar.
