Hello my friend!
I hope this finds you and yours doing well! I decided to start the year off with some sort of virus from hell, so I’ve been hacking and sniffling and mouth-breathing all year. Yes, I’m a sexy vision these days.
But none of that matters because I’ve got GIANT book news! Between coughing fits, I've been hard at work on the final edits of Until the Truth Comes Out, which comes out on February 5th!
(Cue cheering!)

But, Mel, what the heck is this book about?
Well, my friend, let me tell you. It’s a juicy, dramatic, scandalous women’s fiction about a rock band at the height of their fame, the women who love them, and a secret that won’t stay hidden. (Actually SEVERAL secrets!)
It’s a complete departure from my romantic comedies, so if emotionally gripping, twisty, sweeping tales that span over 3 decades aren’t your thing, this book may not be for you. 😉 And that’s okay too.
I’ll be back with a sneak peek at the story so you can try it out, risk-free.
For now, here’s a little amuse bouche, in the form of the blurb… (ooohhh, fancy!)
A rockstar at the height of his fame.
A wife on the edge.
A secret that can’t stay hidden.
And a single night that will change everything.
In the spring of 1997, Zane McCreight and his wife, Sienna, appear to have it all—sold-out stadiums, magazine covers, and the perfect family. But behind the image, their marriage is fracturing, and a scandal is quietly spiraling out of control.
As Zane’s band prepares for a massive tribute concert in the desert—under the eerie glow of the Hale-Bopp comet—tensions rise. Lies are told. Loyalties are tested. And two women find themselves trapped between ambition, betrayal, and the impossible weight of motherhood.
Then, on the night of the show—while the world is watching the stage—the youngest two McCreight children vanish.
Emotionally complex and deeply character-driven, Until the Truth Comes Out is a gripping tale of fame, marriage, the devastating cost of keeping secrets—and the strength of the women left to carry it all.
And that's it for today, my friend. Thank you, as always, for being here.
I'll be back VERY soon with your sneak peek of Until the Truth Comes Out!
Until then, I wish you cozy blankets, hot tea, and lots of time to relax.
xoxo,
mel
